Annette Goodman - The Arrowsmith School est. 1978

Arrowsmith Program Video

The Dark Ages of Neuroplasticity
Brain's anatomy is fixed
The brain is hard-wired
Mental processed have predetermined locations
Brain function can't be altered if damaged or limited
It is unwarranted to spend time improving the brain

The brain is an ongoing construction site.

Arrowsmith Program
Design a task that works a specific cognitive area
Start at the level of task difficulty just above the level of current functioning of the area

Okay, so this program is exercise for your brain...   focused on certain brain functions.   Makes sense.
